Comprehensive pain relief. Advances in technology and a new understanding of the physiology of pain make it possible for us to accurately diagnose and effectively treat many types of persistent pain previously thought untreatable.
Dr. Paul Vollmar, Director of the Pain Management Clinic, and his staff use powerful new fluoroscopic techniques for the precision diagnosis and treatment of persistent pain. When the true source of pain can be identified, your treatment is more precise and effective. The fluoroscope allows us to use a fine needle to precisely guide injections of medicine to the source of pain. These highly accurate injections are performed with minimal discomfort.
New therapies, such as spinal cord stimulators for low back pain, are available at the Pain Management Clinic. These therapies are revolutionizing the diagnosis and treatment of several types of pain.
The Pain Management Clinic offers a full range of treatment methods, including new interventions for pain, including:
Dr. Vollmar received his MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School and also holds an MBA from Mankato State University. Dr. Vollmar is an anesthesiologist and completed a fellowship in pain management at the University of Nebraska.
