CMH hires new Environmental Services Supervisor

Jason Peterson is Community Memorial Hospital’s new Supervisor of Environmental Services.

Jason is a native of Mahtowa and a graduate of Barnum High School. He attended college in Jamestown, North Dakota before finding employment in the Twin Cities area. His past positions include division manager of Xerox, associate pastor, as well as teacher and administrator of a private school. He has also worked at a children’s home in Duluth.

Jason holds the belief that communication is critical when supervising a group of employees. Since starting at CMH/SHCC, he has made it a practice each morning to make the rounds and do a “walk through” where he talks to each employee in his department. He says the reason for this face to face communication is because,“ I am interested in what they are doing and I want to see that they are equipped to do their job.”

As Environmental Services supervisor, Jason is responsible for 34 employees.
