Our 88-bed nursing home is a skilled nursing facility where our
residents receive excellent care from the staff of nurses and
nursing assistants. We have many long term employees and we provide
consistent care to our residents by assigning our nurses aides to
groups of residents on a permanent basis. This helps establish a
caring and familiar relationship. The new expansion at CMH
includes two new dining/activity rooms to further enhance the
experience our nursing home residents.
The Minnesota Department of Health calls Sunnyside Health Care
Center's Activities Program for residents “excellent and
outstanding”-well beyond what is offered in many facilities. Each
month hundreds of activities are scheduled to encourage the
physical, mental, spiritual and psychosocial well-being of our
residents and to provide a high quality of living.
